I am a practitioner and I live in a country where there is no guild or association. How can I start one? Can the IFF help?

The requirements and procedures for starting a non-profit professional association vary from country to country. You will need to join together with practitioners in your own country and research the requirements. Once you have an association that meets the membership requirements of the IFF (which you can see here) you can join. In advance of this, you would also be welcome to visit an IFF Assembly as an observer. Contact... You may also find it useful to contact a guild or association in a nearby country or in the same linguistic family to network. See a list here. |
