Some Underlying Structure

There are different kinds of information

A page is the most straightforward way to submit content, and can be somewhat independent, but it always needs to be linked to something else in order to be findable. It is identified in the upper bar by a 'node' number

A book is a series of related pages, and begins with a parent page and subsequent child pages. The New Users' guide is a book.

All workshop content is organised and connected in the form of a database, and the fields that are selected when the content is created determine how the file is categorised. Workshop evaluations etc are findable by their Group, Workshop format, Audience and Language. (see

List of Local Academy Feet/Teams or List of Academy Workshops)

The IFF has developed organically, and it is useful to be aware of the distinction between the people who have come together around their location and an idea (LAF/T), versus the name of the workshop that those people presented. The names are often the same.(example LAF PRISMA, and workshop PRISMA)

There are different ways of looking for information.

You will notice that when you are reading workshop content, there is a link at the top of the page that takes you to all the information pertaining to a workshop. (see all content relating to '....') That is one way to know where you are.

Another way to orient yourself is to look for the purple button on the right menu that tells you which group you are moving in.

The workshop database is home base for searching for all workshop content
