IFF Update 2007 #9 - Pre 2007 Assembly Checklist

IFF UPDATE # 9 2007- Pre 2007 Assembly checklist.

Dear Colleagues,

Assembly time is nearly here. So here is a checklist of things to remember.

1. From the governing Bodies:
In April, Member Organisations and IFF Representatives have been sent preliminary documents in order to prepare for discussion at the Assembly of the international structure for training-related policy.

a) It’s important that IFF Representatives are familiar with these documents, and the position of their organisation on the issues being discussed. Please review the documents!

b) The documents include a request that each Member Organisation respond to questions. These responses are important to our opening discussion at the Assembly, but until now, we have received only a few responses. We would most appreciate receiving your responses by 11 May, so that we will have time collate and prepare them for the Assembly. (Of course, ‘better late than never’ – we will welcome your response at whatever time we receive it!) Responses will also be posted on the IFF website for other member organizations to view and consider.

The preliminary documents, including questions, are available at http://feldenkrais-method.org/en/node/1640

(Please remember you must log-in to the website to be able to view the mentioned documents, otherwise it will say 'Page Unavailable').

If you have any difficulty accessing the documents, please email Andrea: <awiener@feldenkraisguild.com

2. Have you printed off the membership Compliance form and had it signed by two members of your Board? You will need to bring it with you. (Can be found at http://feldenkrais-method.org/en/node/1624)

3. Have you told us when you are arriving and departing and any special needs you have for food or accommodation?

4. Please also bring something that symbolises the essence of your Association, IFF committee or working group. It could be something that your Association has produced or uses or something else you choose to symbolise your Association.

5. You will need cash to pay for your Assembly registration (€100), your accommodation (approximately €60 per person per night), taxis or other transport, the Saturday evening optional River cruise with the French Guild in Bordeaux(€20) and the final dinner on Monday evening (€20).  Credit cards are not accepted in most places but there are cash machines nearby.

6. Assembly commences with registration, opening reception and dinner on Wednesday evening, May 23rd  from 5.30 pm

7. We will meet each day from 9am to approximately 5.30 pm. Lunch will be between 12.30pm and 2 pm each day.
