Purpose

The purpose of this forum is to reflect, discuss, debate matters related to the educational materials of the Feldenkrais Method.

How the forum is organized

The area is organized in this way:

  • Forums
    • AY Errata
    • AY Titles
    • ATM Revelations
    • Materials Publishing
    • Amherst FI’s, etc.
  • Topics
    • Specific topics of conversation in each Forum
  • Replies
    • To Topics and to other Replies

New Forums can be proposed by any participant in the Educational Materials Discussion Forum, but should be kept to experiences doing, teaching and considering the materials. For technical reasons, the moderator (Richard Ehrman) needs to create these forums. Anyone registered at the site can create forum topics within the main forums, and post replies/comments to specific forum topics.

Theoretical as well as practical discussions of Awareness Through Movement lessons or Functional Integration videos are welcome.

Posting Guidelines

Flame wars, insults, name-calling, rude comments, and bad manners, are not acceptable. Please keep the emotional content of messages as positive, or at least as neutral, as you can. Debate ideas, rather than personalities. Repeat offenders will find their posting privileges curtailed.

Opinions expressed are those of their authors, and do not represent the opinion of list moderator or owner. The IFF retains the right to remove offensive material. If you don't use a signature line, please sign your messages with your full name.

Copyrighted materials such as newspaper articles, etc., may not be posted to the list without the explicit permission of the copyright holder. You may summarize such materials in your own words, or post a link directing others to the source of the material, but you may not post the copyrighted material itself.
