About the IFF Structure Review Discussions

Historically, the Structural Review Committee (SRC) emerged from a report commissioned by the Governing Bodies and presented at the 2006 IFF Assembly. This report from the International Working Group on Training Policy (IWG, see link to the contents, below), included recommendations for a new international structurestructure.

The SRC was the product of the 2007 IFF Assembly calling for a planning group to be created to facilitate the process of moving towards change of international structure and decision making process and to form a plan towards implementation. The SRC reported to the 2008 Assembly, and was tasked with continuing the research and analysis and to identify and use an organisational consultant. See A Professional Commentary below.

Following the SRC Day of Discussion the IFF Assembly drafted and voted on an open letter, see below.

The last correspondence was received May, 2009. The e-mail address for correspondence on this issue has been closed, but you can always contact the IFF Board Chair if you wish to re-open the discussions.
