Feldenkrais Research Journal Revived!
Catching Up, and Moving Ahead: Feldenkrais Research Journal Revived!
We are delighted to let you know that the IFF’s Feldenkrais Research Journal is being published again. Four volumes were published between 2004 and 2008, and now we have volume 5 up online.
Volume 5 includes news, original research articles, and a number of articles on hypothesis and theory, including articles on the idea of ‘body memory’, Feldenkrais and health, a variety of articles on Feldenkrais and arts practice, and a review of Feldenkrais’ Thinking and Doing. The last eight years of research and scholarship are covered in an Editorial that includes links to much of the growing Feldenkrais research literature.
Work is already underway for volume 6, ‘Practices of Freedom: The Feldenkrais Method and Creativity’, which looks at this rapidly growing field of Feldenkrais practice.
We invite you to have a look at volume 5 – and the earlier volumes if you hadn’t had a chance to see them before. If you are interested in writing for the Journal or joining the team of editors, then please get in touch: researchjournal@feldenkrais-method.org
Most of all, please tell your colleagues and anyone you think would be interested.
